Description:
Whether you’re casually taking note of your surroundings or travelling in search of birds to add to your checklist, people of all ages can enjoy birdwatching! Join the Norfolk Park Rangers at Northside Park for Birding with a Ranger (Great Backyard Bird Count) on February 16! Learn about birds coming through the park and how to identify them by sight and sound. We will spend about an hour walking leisurely though the park looking for warblers, woodpeckers, wading birds, and anything else that sparks our curiosity! Bring your own binoculars or borrow from our limited supply. The trail is mostly flat, but unpaved. Dress for the weather; closed-toe shoes are recommended. All ages welcome!
