Conditional Use Permit – Origami Asian Bistro

Hope this finds you all well and enjoying the summer. There is an agenda item that will be heard on July 13, in person, at City Council Chambers, item R-1. Origami Asian Bistro (Military Crossing) was granted a conditional use permit. When it was renewed, they were under probation for two years, which expired in January. They were granted a continuance and then another continuance but were allowed to continue to operate. The attached staff report gives you a history of their operations over the years as well as a full page of police activity. PLEASE READ!!

Please consider attending the City Council Meeting on 13 July 2021 at 6:00 pm to speak against approving the Conditional Use Permit. If you are unable to attend, please consider writing City Council at the addresses provided at the bottom.

The Planning Commission has recommended DENIAL of the permit and we agree with their recommendation. Their document, minutes, and discussion is included below or can be downloaded here.
